Privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Bramvault collects through bramvault.com and by email, and how we handle it. Bramvault is based in British Columbia, Canada, and follows the Personal Information Protection Act (BC) and, where it applies, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada).

What this website collects

This website has no forms, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and our pages set no cookies. Fonts and files are served from our own domain. Our network provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from automated abuse. Our hosting provider and network provider (Cloudflare) process standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. They keep these logs for a limited time under their own policies.

Email

When you email us, we receive your name, email address, any business details you include and the content of your message. We use this only to reply, to evaluate a supply relationship, and to keep records of our business dealings. Our email is routed through Cloudflare and stored with our email service providers, which may process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Business records

If we open an account with you or place orders, we keep contact details, quotes, invoices and related correspondence for as long as the relationship needs them, and keep records required for tax purposes for six years from the end of the last tax year they relate to, as Canadian tax law requires. If an inquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we delete the correspondence within two years.

How we protect it

We keep business email and records in accounts protected by strong passwords and two-step verification, limit access to the people who need it, and securely delete information we no longer need.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (such as email, hosting and accounting), when required by law, or with your consent.

Outside Canada

We plan to sell in other countries over time. If you contact us from outside Canada, this policy still applies, and we will respect any additional rights your local privacy law gives you.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits; if you do, we may not be able to continue a business relationship with you. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
